In this topic I will answer some commonly asked questions. Straight forward answers that don't require you to read paragraphs of nonsense to get the answer you are looking for ( sometimes less is more ).

As to not waste your time with nonsense  ... lets dive  into it.

Why am I getting Bandwidth limit exceeded message ?

We all have a set amount of bandwidth ( some of us higher then others ). When we run out we will no longer be able to post / reply or even upvote. No need to panic, just step away from steemit for awhile and come back. Your bandwidth will replenish.  The time needed to replenish the bandwidth will depend on how depleted your bandwidth is. When I say step away from Steemit, I mean completely step away. Even browsing will eat away at your bandwidth.

 Lets be honest a day away from steemit or the computer in general will do you some good. Look at this as a positive to go get some other constructive things done you been procrastinating.

What's that ? You have an article you want to write. You can still write your article, type it up on word pad or something similar. Save it and copy and paste it to steemit once your bandwidth has replenished.

Resteem, what is it ? 

When you resteem a post, that post shows up in your blog feed. Those that follow you will see the post.  When someone  resteems your blog / article or post , that resteemed article will show in their blog feed. Those that follow that person will see your article.

How do I resteem ?

At the bottom of a blog where you up-vote, the article shows the amount of money the article made, the number of upvotes  and an arrow ( and some other things ) , click the arrow to resteem an article. 

How do I get others to resteem :

You can ask in your blog but allot frown upon this and might cause others to avoid resteeming your work and it might even cost you some upvotes. The best way to get your topic resteemed is to put effort into your topic and make it enjoyable for others to read causing them to want to share your article with others.

There is a way to resteem your article for free and without the need for others. Follow the instructions below.

Pick what article you want to resteem and replace https:// with the letters re and click enter. For example below is one of my articles.

Can I down-vote or be down-voted ? 

Yes, ( also called flagging )  you may or may not have noticed a flag in the upper right corner of a post. If not take a look, its there. That is essentially the down-vote button. I myself don't use this option and if you are going to please think twice before you do.  When you flag a post it devalues the amount the writer will get for his / her post. So make sure you are flagging ( down-voting ) for good reason.

Is there a way to see who down-voted me ?

Yes, go to one of your posts and click the  triangle next to the number of votes. You will then see a list of voters. If any voters have a negative sign (-) rather than a plus sign (+) by their name, then they down-voted (flagged) you. Don't down-vote / flag the person that did it to you out of spite ( your better then that ).
