Help The Poor!
Most times when we walk into big malls, boutiques, supermarket, etc... We never question their prices. we pay exactly what we see on the price tags and even hand out
But the moment we are out of this shops and want to buy banana our bargaining game reaches it's peak, poor widow with 12 hungry children at home tells you banana is #100, she even takes out her time in telling you how
difficult it was to get it, how the economy is bad and so on. But we insist its #50 and we are not paying! some of us even step back into our cars and insist to drive off, but because “half bread is better than None ", the widow is forced to call you back and sells to u at little or no gain
in her heart she cries out, she's worried about how she would survive nd take care of her children.. but she reassures herself and says “it is well"..“God will provide" while u happily eat the luscious banana. take out time to think of this I am always moved to tears when I see people who genuinely and helplessly hawk petty goods to eat and survive for dat day .especially women and children..
pls dont bargain hard with small vendors like this ..they do business not to buy designer clothes, trendy phones and watches etc.. but to live and eat for that day and maybe give their children to take to school the next day..
“he who gives to the poor lends to his maker "
A word is enough.
Great post. This is a reminder to stand by our product. Why does no one ever ask for a discount at Louis Vuitton, because they rather throw out their extra merchandise then ever give a discount. No matter how small of a company you are, treat your company like a fortune 500 brand. You will get fortune 500 results
