Science And Islam : Black Holes And The Hell

BLACK HOLES

Humankind has made a lot of progress and discoveries regarding celestial phenomena in the universe. Among them, one of the most tantalizing one is The Black Hole.
They are the darkest bodies of the Universe and the whole galaxies are dependent on them. As most of the galaxies have a Black Hole in their center and they revolve around them.
A big dying star gives birth to a Black hole. When a star which has consumed all its fuel collapses in on itself, turns into a black hole with infinite density and zero volume and an immensely powerful magnetic field. With a gravitational pull so strong that even light is unable to escape from them. However, such a collapsed star can be perceived by means of the effect it has on the surrounding area. These black holes then keep on getting bigger as they keep swallowing planets, stars and even other black holes around them and with some serious mass they then sits in the center of the Galaxy making it move around it. But Holy Quran has reveiled some details about them some 1400 years ago.

Lets have a look at what we should had known from the Holy book of Islam about them.

--> When the stars are extinguished, (Qur’an, 77:8)

This is how the Black holes are formed. isn't it ? when the stars are extinguished ?

Alos we know that Black holes not only causes warps in space & time but also tears holes in it. Now look at the following verse from the Holy Quran:
--> [I swear] by Heaven and the Tariq! And what will convey to you what the Tariq is? The Star Piercing [the darkness]! (Qur’an, 86:1-3)

Now what i believe is that, The Hell (where wicked and sinful will be sent) could be the Stars and the Black hole. Black hole being the most severe and probably the last state of Hell..

The Holy Qur’an refers to the word ‘Hell’ as a Black Hole

Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) described Hell as black in color according to the following Hadith:

--> (Abu Huraira narrates: Rasulullah (PBUH) said: “Hell had been lit for one thousand years until its flames became red. Again it was heated for another thousand years till its colour became white. Still again it was burnt for further thousand years and its white color flames turned pitch black.” (Tirmidhi, Muwatta)
--> In another Hadith, prophet Mohammed (PBUH) said: “Hellfire is black as tar and dark as night.” (Bayhaqi)

Now According these Ahadis, First the color of Hell becomes
Red, then it turns
White and then it turns into
Pitch Black.

Check this verse of Holy Quran
--> But nay! I swear by the (stars) receding/invisible, the running sweeping (stars) (Quran 81:58)
You perhaps have guessed it. The only thing that is receding and invisible is a Black hole.

According to Physicists, if a person falls in the grip of a Black Hole, the gravitational force of that Black Hole will stretch his/her body to a tremendous length i.e. its gravity would stretch the body like spaghetti.

Surat Al Araf describes the exactly same conditions for the people who'll be thrown into The Hell.

--> (Indeed, those who deny Our verses and are arrogant toward them – the gates of Heaven will not be opened for them, nor will they enter Paradise until a camel enters into the eye of a needle. And thus do We recompense the criminals)(7:40)

Well, how can a camel pass through the eye of a needle ? only if stretched to some extreme levels. Just as Black Holes enlarge bodies, so does Hell to unbelievers.
According to a Hadith of Holy Prophet (PBUH)
--> (The molar tooth of an unbeliever in Hell will be like mountain Uhud in size, the distance of his two shoulders in Hell will be a three-day journey for a swift rider, his seat in Hell will equal the distance between Qadid and Madina, and the thickness of his skin in Hell will be forty-two cubits the size of a giant’s arm).

All these conditions can only be achieved to a Human person if he is stretched to some extreme extreme levels and thats what the Black holes are supposed to do.

Now, Black holes are never filled, i mean they keep on swallowing everthing that fall within their gravitational pull. Likewise, Hell is never full as stated in Surat Qaf :

--> (On the Day We will say to Hell, “Have you been filled?” and it will say, “Are there some more”). However, the Great Creator does say He will fill it on the Day of Judgment and we have no objection to His ruling.(50:30)
