What is MINGO and Hedera Hashgraph?!

I hope you're doing well. I have lot's of exciting news and knowledge to share with you! This week I had the honor of attending the Hedera Hashgraph Event live at the PlayStation Theater in Manhattan, New York. First, off if your wondering what I am even talking about you need to check out their platform. They have built a superior consensus algorithm alternative to blockchain technology. If you missed the conference which had over 81,000 people live streaming your still able to watch it online.

This company truly believes they can over power Bitcoin and Etherum by offering faster transactions. They are going to be launching their new virtual currency platform the second half of this year. Their CEO Mance Harmon says, "It will be able to process hundreds of thousands transactions per second." To put this in perspective Bitcoin processes less than 10 transactions per second and Etherum processes less than 25.

Furthermore, after the event I ended up meeting the development team for Mingo which is one of the first companies to publicly announce that they will be using their platform. Mingo's development team is based out of Ireland and they have created one of the most unique concepts I've ever seen. Imagine intertwining your Facebook, LinkedIn, Skype, Instagram, Twitter, and several other messaging apps all into one place. I personally sat down with the CEO and got to test out the technology. Talk about efficiency!!
