Alcoholic Fatty liver disease is a liver manifestation of alcoholic liver disease that is caused by excessive amounts of alcohol consumption. This disease is prevalent in individuals that consume alcohol in very large amounts over a long period of time. This excess consumption directly impacts on the liver as the liver is unable to detoxify all the alcohols in it.
This liver disease is a transient and reversible process by AVOIDANCE OF ALCOHOL and undergoing treatment.
Alcoholic liver disease is diagnosed by a routine health examination to observe an elevated rise in the liver enzumes, diagnosis for hepatic steatosis, micro and macro vesicular steatosis..
Lastly, alcoholic liver disease is managed through abstinence from alcohol, motivational therapy to combat alcohol use disroders.
The earlier this is screened and combated, the better it is for all individuals.
