1995'e kadar "Lucky Goldstar" olarak LG kısaltmasını kullanan ardından "Life's Good" Sloganıyla yani "Hayat Güzeldir" anlamında LG kısaltmasını kullanmaya devam eden teknoloji firmasıdır.
Mobil telefon pazarında çıkardığı G2 model cihazla çıkardığı telefonu yılın ülkemizde en yüksek satışa ulaşan ikinci telefon olmayı başardı.
fakat ardından gelen G3 , G4 ve V10 modellerindeki kronik olan çözülemeyen sorunlar yüzünden kullanıcılarını kendinden soğuttu.Kendimde kullandığım V10 model cihazın aniden bozulmasıyla kendisinden soğuduğum. Ekran konusunda gereksiz yere QHD çözünürlük kullandığı için powerbank olmadan kullanılamayan cihazlar üreten artık mobil pazardan çekilme zamanının geldiğini düşündüğüm bir teknoloji firmasıdır.
