Edward Newgate or more popularly known by his monicker Whitebeard which also describes his visible long white beard, he is also the captain of the Whitebeard Pirates and stands like a father figure to his crew. As the strongest man he is also considered as one of the Four Emperors of the Sea or in Japanese term means Yonko, that alone suggests that Whitebeard is really a monster in strength not only him but his subordinates as well. And last but not the least he possesed or ate one of the strongest if not the most paramecia devil fruit which is the Gura Gura No Mi also known as the Tremor Tremor fruit which can destroy even the earth.
