Aquí en Colombia esta palabra hace referencia a alguien que es buena persona, que es buen amigo, que ayuda y que se ha ganado a los demás por su buena manera de tratar a sus semejantes. Esta palabra viene de bacano, que se usa para hablar de algo que nos gusta, de algo bueno.
También se puede llamar al bacán, chévere, o buena papá, calidoso. En fín, hace parte del argot popular colombiano, para expresar lo bien que nos cae una determinada persona.
