Amadioha is the god of thunder and ligtheing.
It is also known as Amadiora in south east of Nigeria and also as kamanu or Kanu. In igbo land , Amadioha can also mean man of the people ,some can also see it as one full of his free will.
Seeing it from the astrological view, its domain is the sun.

Amadioha always associated with anyanwu which stand as the god of the sun. Amadioha fights for the free will of the people.
In igbo land there are four markets days "Eke , Orie, Afor, Nkwo" . Amadiohas day is Afor which is the 3rd in order of market days in igbo land.

Amaioha has a red skin color, noted with white ram as symbol.
Amadioha is also known as god of justice because he always stand for justice. He louds with thunder and strikes with lighting to his victim that commits atrocities against the land or against a person.
The properties of a victim killed by amadioha is normally taken by the priest and the victim must be left unburied and unmourned.
Amadioha can also stand in oat taken by individuals and that makes them keep to their terms , also a way to know the truth.

Amadioha takes ram as sacrificce, and the priestly clan is known as umuamadi (children of Amadioha).
Apart from all known, he is also known as god of peace, love and unity. not only in igbo land but also in many parts of Africa.
from the view of many, Amadioha is seen as husband to ala which is the mother of the earth.
In igbo land, Amadioha enforces and protects the law.
