Walkman, a famous accessory of the last generation is also a slang term for grilled pork ears in the streets of the Philippines. Walkman or wokman belongs to the ihaw-ihaw street food. Pork ears are cooked in Adobo style, sliced and skewed. Even if it is tenderly cooked, being part of the ihaw-ihaw, it will still be grilled the way you want it. It is perfectly paired with vinegar dip, a mixture of vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper, calamansi zest, onion and chili.

This is part of the ihaw-ihaw street food together with walkmanisaw(chicken/pork intestine),bato-bato (chicken gizzard), betamax (chicken/pork/beef blood), adidas (chicken feet) and many more.

It sold at P8.00 to P12.00 depending on the size. This one in the photo is sold P8.00 per stick. You will surely get addicted with this Filipino street food most especially if the vinegar dip is tastes salty, sweet, sour and salty at the same time.
