"Bes" or "besh" or "bessy" or "beshy" or "beshywap" is a Filipino slang word for best friend. Before it is really used to refer to your best friend, however, the word bes/besh now also refer to a friend. Filipinos are normally hospitable and friendly people. We treat everyone as a family. This can be the reason why the word bes is used as a terms of endearment to anyone you know and consider as a best friend or a friend.As you can see the word bes also came from the mother word best friend.
