balimbing
Balimbing is a fruit that is prolific in tropical countries like the Philippines.
In fact, this is abundantly growing here in my town, Antipolo. Anywhere you look there is a Balimbing tree bearing fruits all year round. Unlike other trees, Balimbing is not seasonal. It just bears fruit continuously.
Balimbing has no distinct taste. It can be sweet at times, sour or neutral. That is why it is called Balimbing. The word Balimbing also means no fixed standpoint. It is a person who changes his decision, stands, or opinion abruptly. As for me, whatever is the taste of this fruit throughout the year, I like to dip it in vinegar and savor it crunchiness.

I used to eat that fruit when I was young. I hope politicians who are balimbing will not be voted by the Filipino anymore. Balimbing is a bad character. Nice post!
