"Yah" is short for Yahweh or Yahova (differing opinions on which is correct). "El" is also correct as being short for Elohim. This is apparent in many names throughout the bible.
JermiYAH =God has appointed
AbiYAH = God the father
IsaiYAH = God's salvation (Y'Sha'eYAH - same root as Yeshua)
DaniEL = God is my judge
EL-shaddai = God, all sufficient
EL-tsadik = God, all righteous
