I looooved the winter episode, I'm so glad you like it! A lot of this atmospheric black and death metal is just right in my wheelhouse. I think with a lot of doom/blackgaze/ambient metal coming out of places with lonnnng, darrrrrk winters, it shapes and contributes to the amazing stuff they produce~ then it just comes down to the impossible task of picking a spread and not playing for hours and hours and hours...
