The impact of global warming on our health.

in #heating7 years ago

Increasing the average annual global temperature is a serious threat to our health. Climate change favors the spread of many contagious diseases.

As a result of the increase in the average annual temperature there is also an increase in the number of serious diseases - cardiac, cardiovascular, neurological, pulmonary and occupational.
This rise is caused by the rise in carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere. Studies have shown that over the last 30 years there has been a constant increase in its atmospheric quantities, which is directly related to the use of different fuels and industrial activities.

The result of the increase in the amount of carbon dioxide is also the greenhouse effect. Increasing the average annual temperature by 0.3 to 0.6 degrees over the past 100 years has resulted in warming the atmosphere, melting polar hats, and raising ocean levels.
According to a study by scientists at the University of New York University Medical School, the trend is that with rising temperatures, dangerous diseases and deaths are projected to increase globally. This phenomenon also causes changes in existing ecosystems and is a direct threat to our health.

Scientists even predict that climate change will cause more natural disasters. As the temperature increases, the tropical zone will increase and vegetation will change with it.
Infectious diseases will increase as a result of changes in microorganisms and microbes that develop and adapt to the new climatic conditions.

Climate warming also leads to a change in the life cycle of some microbes. There are already fears that in the future there will be diseases transmitted by mosquitoes (such as malaria) and rodents. We can not exclude the possibility that some of the diseases that have been removed in the past may reappear.

Decreased ozone in the atmosphere is associated with decreased susceptibility to infections. Global warming, on its own, can lead to increased microbes and bacteria. The combination of these two phenomena will lead to an increase in infections.
Human activity causes serious damage to the environment. Depletion of ozone and global warming are unfortunately a continuous process. Biological consequences can not be predicted, and their negative impact can have a devastating effect on humans.
