Just What We Need, Another “Fix” To Healthcare

Healthcare has always been a hot issue, at least in the US. There are many potential solutions,but it seems there is always someone who is hurt by that solution. Univaersal free health care works if you want to pay more taxes. But without it, some may not be able to afford the healthcare they need. What do you do?

Enter Blockchain technology!!

Healthureum is a company working to improve health care through the Ethereum Blockchain. Running it through Ethereum allows for better privacy and the use of smart contracts.

Right now, the healthcare system faces an epidemic of fraud and sub par privacy protection. Using the Blockchain technology can help store and organize information for clinical trials, storing health records and insurance claims. With the help of Blockchain technology all of these aspects can be improved on and secured better from information theft.
This token is supposed to act as a bridge between patient and doctors and hospitals. The goal is also to be able to pay your doctors with the token or to pay for health equipment.

To be honest, this token doesn’t provide much for me to be excited about, other than the fact that people are trying to improve all aspects of life with Blockchain. While i dont believe this coin will become something big, i believe it is laying the groundwork for future coins trying to fix this issue. While the team would be able to improve the security of information and payment methods and allows you to have acces to your own information and send it to who you want, i dont see much use beyond that. I’m sure most doctors wont want to be paid with this coin. I could be wrong however and this coin could explode to the moon...
