It is sad and unfortunate that many people, leaders and churches are no longer perching, teaching and laying stronger emphasis on OBEDIENCE to God as before. Freewill, self determination and "freedom" have taken over.

And Obedience to God had been thrown out the window. But we must understand that there can be no real progress in life without obedience to God. Today, we try to do things on our intelligent or bribing God by our Sacrifices, Rituals, Burnt Offering, Prayers Tithes, and Fasting.

However, Obedience is the Key to progress in life and ministry. What obedience will do, fasting and prayer cannot do it. Obedience is very simple, e.g, if you have been asked by God to love your neighbor as yourself, then you have to love because when you love your neighbor you will not do evil thing to him or her.

Sufferings, Want, Calamities, Backwardness, Failure and Problems affecting so many people's lives today can be traced to disobedience heart, Idolatry and Stubbornness. Today we are simply too disobedience and stubborn for God to use and bless us.

Those who have really worked with God and Enjoyed Him were obedient people. With bible reference.

• Noah: - Genesis 6:22

• Abraham: - Genesis 22:23

• Joshua:- Joshua became an extraordinary leader because he learnt to Obey. Joshua 11-15.

• Joseph and Mary:- Luke 2:39

• Hezekiah :- II King 18:6.

There can be no greatness without their strong commitment to obey the Lord.

When we Obey to God's command, there are many Power and Blessings that follows.

• Obedience bring God's Favour,
  Blessing and Power. Exodus 19:5

• Obedience brings victory over enemy
  or opposition. Proverb 16:7.

• Obedience to God brings godly
  prosperity. Job 36:11

• Obedience opens wide gate of
  Heaven. Revelation 22:14, James 1:25

• Obedience will bring the growth,
  progress and breakthrough that
  nothing else can bring.

• Obedience is the key to outstanding
  impact and leadership.

• Obedience brings quick answer to
  prayers. I John 36:11

• Obedience brings God's presence
  and power in every situation.
  John 7:17

• Obedience is the secret of durable
  life and ministry. I John 2:17

It is now crystal clear that if you obey God, He will obey you always.

There will always be wrath, indignation and outpouring of God's judgement on every act of disobedience.
( Sam. 13:13-14, Hebrew 2:2,3)

Why do people disobey God? Sometimes fear of man, unseriousness, stubbornness, doubt, unbelief, not knowing God and wilful-will are the reasons.

Stop struggling with life. Stop doing things in your own thought. Put God first in all areas of your life and see a great turnaround in your life. Obey and leave the rest for God.
