For the past three weeks, I have been engaged to play the moderator role for National Bible study broadcasted live to our church members in Nigeria. The new changes became necessary because of lockdown which has prevented church gatherings. The live broadcast is then used to reach out members at rh comfort of their homes. I'm so grateful to God for qualifying me to such responsibility. I do not take it for granted. I will be glad to share video links soon and hopefully would encourage the media team to employ the blockchain platform such as 3speak for future streams.

Anchoring these Bible study sessions alongside our Senior Pastor/ General Overseer with his assistant reminds me that His endows each and every one of us to be a blessing to the church and the world at large. It doesn't matter who you are, your age, life experiences. All required is a willing heart that would respond to God's call.

It is beautiful to know that God created each of us uniquely and with perculiar endowment for the blessing of humanity - your family, the church and the society at large. Our uniqueness was meant to complement each other. We err when we try to be and act like another. Our perfection is in the living out of the identity that God gave to us.

The World needs you to heal...

Each of us were created to be a solution to the world in the areas of our endowments. We have been called out to season as salt. Jesus emphasizes that the earth needs salt to heal and we are an embodiment of the salt.

Moreover, we have been called to shine out as lights that others may see and glorify our father who is in heaven. According to Jesus in Matthew 5: 13-16, our lights are not to be bushelled, rather, to be placed on a candlestick so we can give light to others.

God prioritizes the unity of the church

God prioritizes the unity of the church and expects everyone to play his distinct part for the optimal functioning of the body of Christ. There would be no need for collaboration if all of us were looking alike. The diversity in our gifts and talents is what makes collaboration beautiful.

18 God has placed each part in the body just as he wanted it to be. 19 If all the parts were the same, how could there be a body? 20 As it is, there are many parts. But there is only one body. - 1 Corinthians 12: 18-20.

We see Paul admonishing the church in Corinth of the need to operate as those with the consuiousnes that each person must not be selfish with God's gift in his life. He expresses that the gifts endowed on us are for the edification of the church. Attempt to answer these questions and you would see how much the church and the world is earnestly waiting for your manifestation.

  • What are my perculiarities and what are my strengths through Christ?
  • How special has His fashioned me?
  • What can I do to grow the church?
  • How can I be a blessing to humanity?

Those questions and many more would open you up for a burden to allow God to use you to edify bless the church.

Can god depend on you?
