Things To Learn or Do Before Inherit Abraham's Blessings.

It is so common hearing the Christian sing this song "Abraham's Blessings are mine, Abraham's Blessings are mine, I am blessed in the morning, I am blessed in the evening..... Abraham blessings are mine.

I begin to think whether christians have ever given it a thought that Abraham did not come about blessings on a platter of gold. Evidences abound in the Bible showing that Abraham paid prices at various times in other to inherit those promises.

Today, how many people paid such prices in other to inherit those blessings to? None or few. And we expected God to fulfill those promises in our lives to. Well, God is constant in His promises.

Imaging a man(Abraham) was called out of his father's house to go to a place yet to be identified. Imaging a man (Abraham) at the age of 99 years of age still being asked to walk rightly before God and to be perfect. Imaging a man (Abraham) who waited for a very long long period of time for a convent child only to be told to make sacrifice to His God using the same covenant child. It is evident that the obedience exhibited which we are all clamouring for today in our daily lives.

Another aspect of Abraham's way of living that needs to be looked into is the act of hospitality. It was recorded that unknown to him he had entertained angels and this produced prophecies unto his family culminating into the giving birth of Isaac. His ways of life are worthy of emulation.

How many people nowadays are hospitality to everyone around ? Let that be your question each day. Some people are so angry easily that when their angels comes around they chase them away because of their inpatient, lack of tolerance and attitude.

In addition to Abraham prices, Abraham conceded the more fertile portion of territory to Lot when the med to separate arose. His choice of portion which was infertile was turned round into a watershed to compensate him for his tolerance.

From the above, there are three essential factored that qualified Father Abraham to be a blessing. They are;

Obedience
Tolerance
Hospitality

Although our adoption as the childs of God through our acceptance of Jesus as our personal Lord and Saviour qualifies us to be covenant child of Abraham, our access to the covenant blessings depends on the extent to which we fix ourselves to those factors, and we are eternally lucky that this year is our year of all round fruitfulness and help. Strive to maintain it as a life cardinal principle. If you are able to do that all the other factors of tolerance and hospitality will automatically fall in line.

My people reading this post, it is not easy to accomplish all these except you are strengthened by the Holy Spirit of God. The Bible says; "It's not by might nor by power but by the Spirit says the Lord”. (Zachariah 4:6).

I pray that God will help you and I to do all that are necessary so that the abundant blessings will remain out heritage in Jesus Name Amen.
