The rise of heart disease in the first half of the 20th century, and why! Nothing to do with regular food.

in #heart7 years ago

At the turn of the century leading into the 20th century most doctors had never seen a patient with a heart attack. No, that wasnt a typo. Heart attacks were very uncommon 100 yrs ago and a quarter of a century later they were atarting to see an increasing number of cases until by the middle of the century they realised that they had an epidemic of men dying in the prime of their lives. The reason would not become apparent for another half century and it had nothing to do with cholesterol no matter what the producers of lipitor may tell you. Its a bit of a long story, so I will give people a day give it some thought.
