Destroying Taboos

Contamination literally and figuratively means 'being dirty'. The result: I was where I started.

My cheeks flushed, my heart slammed, my legs trembled. I shook my head. I rarely see you look at me with such disappointment. You know this is wrong, right? she asked, what do we do if someone finds out that she's acting this way? Then I was fully aware of the future. the inlays and needles, and even God and his commands, could disrespect the shock.

I never thought that menstruation had anything to do with the distance. Although I have heard it in my short life many times, I never believed that I was less important than the blood flowing down my legs.

It was the thought that helped me, that I had to hold down the taboos at that moment and forever. Even though women who were menstruated could not explain to someone who was warned that something terrible would happen when they did not torture themselves under the name of culture, I had done nothing wrong.

Since then, I have been opposed by silence. Simply put, I convinced myself that I was a woman who had no menstruation.
