Sign is a great tool ... it’s also amazingly beautiful to watch! I play sign language stories for the girls and they’re fascinated. There was a TedTalk about sign language ... I’ll see if I can find it and link to it later.

I think they have successfully taught some sign language to monkeys but I’m not sure where I heard that... and it was awhile ago.
