I have been planting little food for years. And I got better at it. Learned some tricks. Some plants though are survivors that don't need much care. We all should have some plants. Maybe one day I and my Wife will have land and can plant on it. I have to go and clean up my balcony and pull out some old stuff thaf is wasting space in my pots.
