The influence of diet on health

The food we consume is basically good and beneficial. It's just that the food becomes unhealthy for the body due to certain reasons, especially in the way processing and eating patterns are applied. A healthy diet is a means or effort in the regulation of the amount and type of food with certain intentions such as maintaining health, nutritional status, preventing or helping cure the disease.

Understanding eating patterns can be concluded that the diet affects the health of the body. A good diet can prevent an illness. The diet also affects the body's metabolism so it will determine whether the body becomes healthy or sick. Consumption of a balanced diet with a good diet is a basic recommendation. The intake of nutrients determines the health aspects of each individual. A healthy and balanced diet can keep your body healthy and increase your immune system, improve your brain concentration and performance.

The study found that in rural areas difficult to find hypertension, obesity, heart disease and cancer than modern people who have a more adequate environment. This proves that the diet has a tremendous effect on health. Other evidence suggests that vegetarians like the average long-lived tribe have lower blood pressure than those who eat a lot of meat.

The habit of skipping breakfast with a nutritious meal for the reason of busyness is also often we do. Though between 3 meals, breakfast is the most important meal time. Breakfast is the beginning of energy for all day activities.

Eating food before bed is also a bad habit that we often ignore. Though 3 hours before bed stomach will also rest. Stomach work becomes very slow, so the food that goes into the stomach will be difficult to digest. The result is certainly susceptible to risk of stomach upsets, sleep quality is reduced so it will affect the activity the next day.

Eating 4-5 times a day with a balanced portion is still better than we eat 3 times a day but has an excess portion. Many diseases arise from unbalanced portions of food. Foods that enter the body will be converted into energy by insulin. While insulin has limited ability to change sugar. If the food that enters the body is excessive, then insulin can not convert the whole food into energy. As a result sugar that is not converted by insulin will accumulate in the body, so the body will be excess sugar. Lack of consumption of water, fruits and vegetables can also have an impact on the incidence of disease complications.

To prevent various diseases that arise due to an unbalanced diet requires awareness and knowledge about food nutrition that is balanced with the needs of the body. Better to prevent than cure. Before it's too late in regret. Let's improve our diet with a balanced and healthy diet.
