Homemade gummies - an EASY and HEALTHY snack 🍬

Tart Cherry Gummies! I like the flavor of tart cherry juice, but other juices would work as well (give it a try). Easy to make!

INGREDIENTS:

🍒1 cup 100% tart cherry juice
🍒 2 TBSP plain gelatin
🍒1 TBSP honey (optional +/- 🍯)

DIRECTIONS:

👉In a small saucepan, add the juice and sprinkle the gelatin over the top. Wait a min to allow the powder to be absorbed (it will look like a gritty film on the surface) then whisk to combine

👉On the stovetop, heat the liquid slowly on medium heat until the gelatin is dissolved (looks thin and no longer grainy). Your mixture should be steaming, but not boiling

👉Once it reaches this stage, turn off the heat and whisk in the honey (optional)

👉 Pour into a glass baking dish (I used a 3 cup Pyrex)

👉Cool in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours (I usually do overnight)

👉 Cut into squares

👉Eat!

You can also pour into molds or use cookie cutters on the chilled baking dish to make it more fun 😉
