What is a obesity?
Obesity simply means that a person has an excess amount of body fat. It has been a common health condition in today's society due to the usage of processed food that has high calories and low nutrients. Lack of physical activity, stress, and hormonal imbalances can also cause abdominal obesity. Obesity is a critical health condition that leads to many other complex diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, and certain types of cancer.
We can check obesity very easily by measuring the BMI (Body Mass Index). It is the basic method to check if a person has a healthy body weight for their height.

How Obesity affects our health?
An excess amount of body fat can easily increase the risk of heart diseases, heart attacks, and strokes. It can easily spike LDL cholesterol levels in our body. As we all know, excess fat can also reduce our metabolism. It makes our body insulin resistant by making it harder to control sugar in our blood.
Not just that, respiratory diseases can be an early sign of Obesity. Shortness of breath or asthma can be a cause of obesity. It can also increase the risk of osteoarthritis, because an increase in weight can put stress on bones and joints.
Do you think what you see on the scale only harms your body? No. It harms our mental health, too! Obesity can be linked to depression, anxiety, and emotional stress.

Some effective ways to get rid of this problem.
I believe in practicing healthy living. Since we have gotten too far from all those healthy habits is what brings risk to our lives. Eating healthy and maintaining proper portions is the first step that we need to take. We should avoid using all the processed and unhealthy snacks. We can switch to better and healthier options like homemade food. Currently, I control the portion of food I consume by using a small plate. You can find options that fit your lifestyle.
I'm also following the intermittent fasting method to burn calories. I have just one main meal that has all the nutrients, and I avoid snacking in between.

I also consume loads of hot water, It really helps to reduce hunger. Sometimes, consuming less water can send the wrong signals, such as hunger, to your brain. Therefore, we should not forget to drink at least 3L of water a day.
I try my best to stay active throughout the day and also follow mini workout sessions to tone my body. Stress management is also very necessary to lose body fat because stress can lead to overeating. We tend to eat more or crave more sugary foods when we are stressed.
As we all know, sleep is important too. Staying up late can cause much harm to our bodies. It increases our hunger and leads to midnight cravings. It is recommended to get 7 to 9 hours of sleep to stay fit and healthy.
I was 68 Kg before, and it has helped me a lot to come down to 64 Kg. My BMI was 27.1; therefore, my healthy weight for my height was 46.8 kg to 63.2 kg. Following the above healthy practices, I'm still trying to lose weight until I reach the healthy range.
