Self-care is not selfish but an important part of our living. If you don't make time to care for yourself, you won't have the energy or attention to do the things that are most important to you. Taking care of oneself should be a key priority and one of the best things you could do for yourself, and so it's not something to feel bad about. It's similar to putting on your own oxygen mask first on an airplane, you can't help anyone else unless you take care of yourself first.
