Hi everyone, I am so excited to participate in this educative contest organized by @afzalqamar in healthy steem community. Through this contest we are going to learn important thing that will benefit everyone.
Kidney stones are a group of solid substances, such as minerals, salts, and other substances that normally form inside the kidney. A person may experience pain in their body whenever the stone passes out through the urine. Another medical term for kidney stones is renal calculi.
Discovering this illness at the right time lowers your risk of it becoming a chronic health issue. It's a small sand-like substance that a person may not even know they have developed kidney stones. This type of kidney stone we are talking about is common among men, usually in the age range of 30 to 40, more so than in women.
A person who is affected with kidney stones may experience symptoms of lower back pain in their body from one side to another. It will continue to worsen if left unattended.
• Blood in urine is a common symptom, where you will notice that your urine is very dark or changes color when it passes out through pee.
• They will find it difficult to urinate to the extent that whenever the pee wants to come out, they experience a lot of pain and that pee maybe small amount of urine.
• They always feel the need to urinate frequently; even when they have the chance to urinate, the pee may smell.

Formation of crystal substances in our body can result in kidney stones. These substances like calcium phosphate and calcium oxalate can cause kidney stones which is very dangerous to our health. When there are too many particles of these substances in your urine, they will stick together to form kidney stones.
Additionally, if someone in your family has a history of kidney stones, you are likely to experience the same. Eating foods containing sugar and drinking less water can also result in kidney stones.
• Kidney stones can be prevented if we drink plenty of water, which will help us flush out small amounts of stones.
• We should also reduce our intake of food containing protein to avoid being infected with kidney stones.
• If the food you consume does not help, visit a hospital so that your doctors may prescribe medicine to help you prevent this health condition.
• Lastly, consume foods that have a high amount of calcium to prevent kidney stones. Avoid taking calcium supplements because you may have a higher risk of developing kidney stones.
This condition can be treated when you visit a health care center because the doctors can prescribe drugs for you particularly when it's a small stone so that it can pass out easily when you urinate but they will still monitoring your movement during that process. Although if it's a big one or is in a different location, they will need to perform surgery to remove it.
Every March of a year is the World Kidney Day where they reach out to a large number of people. Kidney is one of the vital organs in our body that we should not joke with. Organize seminars or workshops in the host community and tell the people in that community the most important things to do to avoid kidney health-related problems such as exercising regularly, drinking enough water, and stopping the consumption of alcohol and cigarettes.
Let people know that hereditary issues may occur if a person in their family has a kidney health-related problem and reassure them that early detection is important to help them cure the sickness. They should speak out whenever they experience symptoms of this illness because this health condition is a silent killer.
