EASING HEADACHES
Headache is a term used to describe symptoms of pains, throbbing anywhere in the region of the head or neck region.
This pains could be the independently felt in any regions of the head, be it occipital, temporal, parietal or frontal lobe.
The pains in this region signify different forms of headache. This pain originates from the tissues and structures that surrounds the brain or skull. The brain itself, has no nerves that give rise to sensation of pain.
Summarily, there are three types of headaches viz; primary, secondary and cranial headaches.
Most common occurrence of headache is the primary headache, which presents itself as tension, migraine and cluster headaches.
METHODS OF MANAGING HEADACHES
Generally, treatment of headaches can fall under classical, alternative and other kinds such as physio-therapy
CLASSICAL treatment involves the use of therapeutic drugs such as aspirin, ibuprofen, panadol etc from treatment
ALTERNATIVE METHODS of treating headache include biofeedback mechanism which is used to detect and correct rate of blood flow to the brain.
Another is stress management, stress and anxiety increase, has been linked to chronic migraine and other headaches. Stress management combined with regular relaxation and enough sleep helps to checkmate headaches.
Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese technique, still very common in Asia where fine needles go into points on the body. It helps to ease headaches by correcting energy imbalances in the body.
Herbs has proven to be effective in relieving headaches. Most of these herbs are mashed and applied to the forehead while some have their liquid content squeezed out and drank.
Other KINDS of remedy lie in Physio-therapy like massage which helps to reduce stress and relieve tension also sleeping in dark rooms, rest also eases headaches etc.
