Navy "Nurses" Unprofessional With Newborns Outrageous!!!

Wow! I don't even know where to start with this one!

First off please stop calling them nurses! They are not R.N.s and are the equivalent of CNAs. (Certified Nursing Assistants)

Second. Social media. Especially Snapchat! What The Hell! I can't even say where I work or take a picture in my uniform for fear of getting in trouble at work because of............HIPAA

Third. HIPAA! HIPAA! HIPAA! (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996) is United States legislation that provides data privacy and security provisions for safeguarding medical information.
This is drilled into you as a nurse (they aren't) but everyone in that hospital should be aware of this policy. It is no joke.

Fourth. Military Justice. Now, I don't have any military experience when it comes to healthcare. But I would assume that the repercussions of these hospital employees might end up harsher in a military setting than it would be in a civilian setting. But I don't know for sure. Any vets want to chime in?

Fifth. Everything else that is wrong with this. As a mother, you would want your baby's first moments in this world to be loving and caring and NOT dancing to 50 Cent and called mini Satan! OMG!!! I would go full on momma bear-she wolf on their asses!

This dude gets it.

Unfortunately free military healthcare comes with its downfalls. A lot of times these Corpsmen are just out of high school and hurried through Navy A school via computer based training classes and powerpoints. Most of the time when you go in to be seen, they tell you to keep hydrated, give you some Motrin, and send you on your way.

Yes it does seem that the women involved are young and I'm sure lack of training played a role.
