Basil leaves or tulsi:
Basil leaves can give you instant relief from acidity, eat a few tulsi leaves or boil 3-4 leaves in a cup of water, let it simmer for a few minutes, sip on them frequently. It is one of the best home remedies to relieve acidity.

Jaggery:
Jaggery contains high magnesium, which helps in increasing the strength of your intestines. Suck on a small piece of jaggery after a meal to cool off your stomach.

Buttermilk:
Buttermilk contains lactic acid which normalizes your acidity in the stomach, have a glass of buttermilk after eating a heavy or spicy meal.

Fennel seeds:
You can chew fennel seeds after meals to prevent stomach acidity, you can have fennel tea to keep the digestive tract healthy and reduce the feeling of indigestion and bloating.

Eat banana and apple more:
Bananas contain natural antacids that act as a factor to fight acidity, it is advisable to eat one banana every day and if you have long gaps in between meals then have a few slices of apple before bedtime to relieve heartburn or reflux.

Drink coconut water:
Coconut water helps to turn your body's PH level from acidic to alkaline. It also protects the stomach from the harmful effects of further acid production.

Use cardamom or elaichi:
Whenever you feel about acidity striking, take two pods of elaichi, crush them coarsely, then boil them in water, cool and drink to get instant relief.

Change sleeping habits:
Do not sleep immediately after meals but only 2-3 hours after meals, and remember to sleep on your left side mostly if possible.

Ginger tea:
Ginger tea contains antioxidants and other substances that help relieve inflammation of the esophagus in addition to reducing stomach contractions which ultimately reduces the feeling of acidity.

To prepare a ginger tea you should take 2 medium cut ginger slices and two cups of water, place the ginger and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil, Switch off the flame, cover it well for 30 minutes, then remove the pieces of ginger and drink a glass of tea 20 minutes before each meal.

Drink congorosa tea:
Congorosa tea has digestive properties, it helps to improve poor digestion and relieve acidity. To prepare a congo rosa tea you should take a cup of water, one tablespoon of congo rosa, boil the water and add the congo rosa, leaving to rest 5 to 10 minutes, strain, and drink 2 to 3 times a day.
