Why i believe America's healthcare system is among the worst in the developed world
It's actually quite simple, the U.S over last few decades has allowed the big healthcare providers to take control over the healthcare system and in the process allow it to be privatized.
Now, even if you have health insurance it is not in the health provider's interest to pay out on your claim for surgery as it means they lose money. So in affect, helping people get better goes AGAINST what they stand for, which is making profit.
The same goes for big pharma. It is not in their interest to sell people cheap medicine. Which is why some medicines cost people thousands of dollars each month.

I have often wondered why America who spend so much time, money and effort helping underdeveloped countries seem to not care about universal healthcare? It really baffles me, I once had an american tell me that the UK healthcare system was communist!
