# Infectious Diseases
Transmission of infectious diseases is an issue that has often been the mouthpiece of society since recently. Transmission of these infectious diseases is a thorn in the meat and has caused the general public and the Malaysian community to be in constant concern. Among the dangerous diseases that have hit our country and abroad are the epidemic of the bird flu and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome SARS). Various efforts have been made by various parties to control the spread of infectious diseases, which can lead to death. However, the spread of the disease is still occurring from time to time. Therefore, various ways should be done by the community to ensure the symptoms of the disease can be contained.
One of the ways to control the spread of infectious diseases is to ensure orderly healthcare among Malaysians. Health care is a continuous practice. For example, every member of society should maintain personal hygiene at all times. Hygiene is a principle that will prevent the body from getting sick. Health care also involves systematic exercise and leisure activities. The Malaysian community today is exposed to a variety of disease risks if organized procedures are an effective way to control the spread of infectious diseases, as well as to maintain health. Furthermore, lately many diseases have been detected in our country. Examples of avian influenza illnesses that started overseas have infected the population of this country. As such proverbial health care, prevention is better than cure.
Other than that, the authorities must tighten the requirements of foreign tourists. Immigration departments and customs departments should enforce tight controls against people entering the country. Customs department, for example, must ensure that animals brought into the country are free of any illnesses. It does not matter whether the animal is imported for food or pet. If the animal is infected, the customs department shall seize and ensure that the animal is not brought in. In this particular focus should be given to tourists and animals from countries known to have contracted infectious diseases. For example, China has been attacked by a serious bird flu. Therefore, tourists and animal-based import items should be examined in greater detail so that our country is free from the threat of dangerous infectious diseases. Thus, the authorities should tighten the conditions of the entry of tourism and goods from abroad to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, not to have a new banging.

The next step in controlling the spread of infectious diseases is that the government should dispose of animals or carriers that have been infected with infectious diseases immediately. This strict action must be taken regardless of community objections and criticisms. The government should carry out this action because infectious diseases usually spread rapidly when the carrier is not removed. For example, in the case of the Avian Flu disease, any birds that are either nurtured or free of life need to be disposed of. Although this action is a bit cruel, we can not choose hair or compromise when public health is threatened like a proverb as it should not spill over. The loss of pet death is better than the loss of human life due to infectious disease. The action should also be implemented promptly. The authorities should not wait for the decision of the majority because the transmission of the disease will not stop if it is not contained. Slow action will have adverse effects when the disease is no longer manageable. Therefore, the disposal of an animal or disease carrier should be hastened to ensure that its transmission can be controlled.
