Cell phones DO fuel tumors, Italian court rules: Man wins $7,500 a year for life after developing brain mass 'from using his company phone'

in #health7 years ago

A man has been awarded monthly social security payments after a court found that his brain tumor was caused by a company-issued cellphone.

Roberto Romeo was given a phone by Telecom Italia, which he used for three hours a day for 15 years in the job.

Over time, he developed a non-cancerous tumor and the loss of hearing in one ear.

On Thursday, it emerged a court in the northern city of Ivrea has sided with Romeo, ordering the mobile network giant to pay him up to 7,000 euro a year (around $7,500).

This is bad news for the telecom companies as more and more people are going to hear about this and start connecting the dots in their own lives and health issues. The California health department was recently sued because it kept cell phone health warning hidden from the public and I believe it was because the telecoms bribed someone in the government to keep it secret so people wouldn't sue them in the United States either. The truth always comes out sooner or later and these telecom companies need to man up and admit they've be harming people. Once that is done they can work on building a safer cell phone for consumers.

I worked in construction and one of the owners of the masonry company on site Had gotten a tumor in his head and had to get it removed and the doctors told him it was due to phone use. He now has to use the ear buds with the mic on it. No bluetooth or wireless nothing.

FYI I read the new iPhone 7's wireless earbuds are really bad. The bluetooth signal only goes to the right earbud then connects THRU THE MIDDLE OF YOUR HEAD to the left ear bud.

Ya even the cheap Chinese shortwave radio I bought had a note in the box to keep the antenna two or more inches from your head.

Always read the fine print. That's where the real answers sit.

This information has been available for years. I don't pay Italian taxes, but if this starts happening in the states, the taxpayer here will be picking up the bill for people who chose to remain ignorant. Why should the Italian taxpayer be penalized for what this guy and his employer chose to do?

I'm ok with that, it just bankrupts the system faster. :)
