You'll see (if you've been paying attention) a great deal of articles these days on the 'stigmas' of mental illness and how we are all just people. We all just need to put it all out there, in the public. Talk about our mental issues. Just look at bell Canada massive "Let's talk" campaign. I wrote a piece on steemit awhile back.
"Now to be perfectly honest, I don't think it's entirely bad to motivate people to discuss their mental problems (with others in private). Just because something has a deeper agenda attached to it, it doesn't mean it can't also have a positive impact as well. But let's be clear this is a very subtle way of manipulating the public perception. It's like "Look how fucked up everyone is, just like you!" "You're just normal, the new normal"
I've been thinking along the exact same lines .. I've been wondering if they're both preparing and conditioning people to accept the mental anguish that lays ahead as some sense of normality .. in reality it's a reaction to an increasingly insane society and is sadly akin to taking a paracetamol for a brain tumor. We will only have peace and indeed peace of mind when we get to the root cause of the problem.
I think that if people believe that their anguish is normal they want look as to why they are feeling that anguish.
They are doing the same thing with the transgender agenda and obesity. Normalize is so no one will do anything to seek out answers and solutions to their afflictions.
It's a great way to weed out the population. Leave only the strong and hearty left to use as their slaves.
My feeling is that instead of seeing such conditions as symptoms of a cannary in a coal mine, society is sold that the victims are the ones which are broken. The system which breaks them is never a consideration.
