AHHHH! SO EXCITED. Found burro bananas upstate in Spring Valley, NY!
I visited a delicious Caribbean restaurant that's all plant-based with lots of yummy island options like Curried "Goat" made from Seitan & Black Currant sweet rolls 😋

Burro bananas are a little bigger than baby bananas and are flatter and stubbier than the usual 🍌 shape.

Unlike Cavendish bananas (most common) & plantains, Burro bananas have tiny seeds. Seeds is always a good sign. It means this fruit has not been genetically altered and still remains in its natural state; capable of creating offspring. (although not all seeded fruit is nongmo)
Cavendish bananas are believed to be hybrids and created by using gene splicing.

Burro bananas aren't as sweet as the average cavendish bananas but they pack a real nutrient punch.
They contain essential minerals like potassium which helps improve brain functionality, bone health, heart health, muscles, nerves, kidneys & bowel movements.
