As I have recently posted, China cannot provide accurate data regarding this outbreak even if they want to. They don't have the personnel, facilities, or supplies to collect, understand, and communicate accurate data. There is also significant reason to doubt they want to provide accurate data, as this affects their economic and political circumstances, which they seek to control for obvious reasons.

Free people, as is obvious in this example, have an existential need of the most accurate and factual information as can be attained. Clearly, governmental power trumps sovereign civilians, which reveals the danger of empowering government.
