How To Save Ourselves From a Big Lose ? Types of Fire Extinguishers !! My First Episode
1-Water and Foam
It is used for common combustion of wood ,plastic cloth.
Extinguish fire by taking away heat foam agent separate oxygen from agent separate oxygen from other elements .
2-Carbon dioxide 
It is used for flammable liquids ,gasses live electrical equipment. It works by taking oxygen elements and remove heat
3-Dry CHEMICAL 
It is used for common combustion of wood plastic cloth flammable liquids and live electrical equipment.
Extinguish fire by interrupting chemical reaction
of fire triangle.
4-WET CHEMICALS
It is used for combination of cooking oil and fats.
Extinguish fire by preventing reigniting by creating barriers
5-Clean Agent
It is used for common combustion flammable liquid and live electrical equipment.
Extinguish fire by interrupting chemical reactions.
6-Dry Power
It is used for combustible metals. Extinguish fire by separate fuel from oxygen elements and remove heat
7-WATER MIST 
It is used for common combustion and live electrical equipment.
Extinguish fire by taking away heat
8-CARTRIDGE OPERATED DRY CHEMICAL
It is used for common combustion flammable liquids gasses and live electrical equipment .
Extinguish fire by creating barriers between oxygen and element

A lot more can be said about extinguishers. Some few things from the top of my head:
Water and foam will not survive frost - so if living in or visiting climates where it may be frosty, better not to leave such extinguishers in a car or a boat.
Powder-based extinguishers leaves a terrible mess, and the powder may be corrosive as well. Of course that doesn't really matter when it's a question of life or death - but it may matter if it's a question about saving values. It has been said that if you empty a powder extinguisher to save a boat, the boat will probably fall a lot in value. All the fog may also reduce the vision, making it difficult for people to escape from the boat. Hence, powder extinguishers is not the best one to use on board a boat. If you want the extinguisher to do the least damage, CO2-extinguishers is the best bet.
If using an extinguisher that removes the air supply temporary - in particular CO2-extinguishers - then there is typically a risk of reignition.
For kitchen fires, a fire blanket may be the very best remedy.
The extinguishers needs maintenance, checkups or replacement from time to time - some extinguishers needs more care than others.
