Fantastic vegan poppy seed cake to impress your friends
You will be the star of the next baking-contest with this recipe:
You need for the bottom of the cake:
70g Brazil nuts or Walnuts
150g Datteln or figs
a pinch of Salt
grated orange peel of half an orange
Mix all the ingeredients in the blender or kitchen-machine. Maybe you need some water... The result should be a sticky dough...
Put the mass in a cake tin of 16cm diameter. Use kokosoil or baking paper to for the cake tin an press the dough inside.
You need for the topping of the cake:
soak the poppy seeds and the in Water during the night before
150g popps seeds (soaked in water)
100g Agave nectar
100g cashews (soaked in water)
juice of 1 orange
70 g kokosoil
melt the kokosoil slowly
Put all ingredients in the blender and mix it as long as necessary to get a creamy mass.
The creamy mass goes on top of the cake bottom and the cake hat so stay for minimum 2 hours in the fridge ...
