A food supplement for sporty people
If you are looking for a natural energy supplement chestnut can help you fight the states of physical and mental weakness due to the presence of carbohydrates and mineral salts.
100gr. of chestnuts can be compared to a dish of pasta for caloric and carbohydrate intake, with the difference that chestnuts do not contain gluten and therefore are also consumable by those who are affected by celiac disease.
But as I said before they are a food particularly suitable for who practice sport, because they develop the power of the muscles and stimulate blood circulation.

Do not exaggerate
Despite being considered a little treasure for our health, chestnuts remain a fruit difficult to digest due to the high content of starch, and is not recommended for those suffering from colitis, aerofagia, diabetes, obesity and liver-related pathologies so beware!
Though this nut is not available in my area (or I haven't searched it meticulously) but heard about it in our books or newspapers. I have one question. Why is it called Chestnut? not abdomennuts or brainnuts or handnuts or legnuts?
ahahah fun:))
love it!
