Sungazing

Ah, at last, the sun is out,
Cascading its healing radiance
upon the earth...
how very like plants we are,
borrowing our energy
from the core source of all life,
and how necessary it is
to gratefully acknowledge
and cultivate
its everlasting energy...

Nature immersion attunes us
with all other species,
sparking the realisation
that we, too, are organic,
and that the vital natural elements compose our sustaining fuel
that makes us grow within
and expand without,
on and on into the ether
and beyond ...
