the rules of vipassanna meditation

There are so many health benefits of meditation, its not really mandatory to name them all, but meditation has become a mastermind in humans life these days. The need to meditation is very useful to human being in terms of mind body and soul, and to have a control of our mind as well.

There are so many types of meditation:- Today i want to share my thoughts on Vipassana meditation. This meditation is actually a 10 day course that a person is required to take in his or her near by meditation center.

Here you are required to stay away with all the means of communication that distracts your mind body and soul for 10 days.

And once you are inside the meditation center you are not allowed to talk to one another, as silence is a mandatory for every person taking part in vipassana meditation.

Here are the time table of vipassana meditation

4:00 am - Morning wake up bell
4:30-6:30 am - Meditate in the hall or in your room
6:30-8:00 am - Breakfast break
8:00-9:00 am - Group meditation in the hall
9:00-11:00 am - Meditate in the hall or in your room according to the teacher's instructions
11:00-12:00pm - Lunch break
12.00-1:00pm - Rest and interviews with the teacher
1:00-2:30 pm - Meditate in the hall or in your room
2:30-3:30 pm - Group meditation in the hall
3:30-5:00 pm - Meditate in the hall or you can meditate according to the teacher's instructions
5:00-6:00 pm - Tea break
6:00-7:00 pm - Group meditation in the hall
7:00-8:15 pm - Teacher's discourse in the hall
8:15-9:00 pm - Group meditation in the hall
9:00-9:30 pm - Question time in the hall
9:30 pm - Lights out and rest in you own room

The first 4 to 5 days you wont feel anything and you wont understand the purpose of vipassanna, but after you complete the whole course of 10 days, you mind becomes calm, peaceful and healthy.

If you face any difficulties during the meditation, you can always talk to the spiritual guru, and he will give you all the instructions.

During the 10days of meditation you are not allowed to go out from the meditation surroundings, as you will get distracted by the outside world. You have to stay away from all things that distracts you, and to control your mind body and soul.

These are the rules of vipassanna meditation.

Vipassanna meditation is now almost all over the world, there are meditation centres in every part of the world now.

I do vipassana meditation course in Italy, but never meditate 12 hours a day: where do you do your retreat?

i know, i havent finished editing the blog yet, just checking if i had made any mistakes in the writing, but you are too quick to comment on this one. Thanks for the comment though.

In which center u did vipasana. I m also going for vipsana course next week.
