الادمان هو التعود علي نوع معين من العقاقير المخدرة او المنبه ويتعود عليها واخدها بكميات تزيد كل فترة عن الاخري نظرا لانخفاض تاثيرها علي الفرد مما يؤدي الي زيادة الجروعة لتحقيق الشعور المطلوب 

وتختلف المادة المخدرة باختلاف مدة التعاطي ونوع المادة الكميائية وكذلك التاثير النفسي والعضوي علي الانسان 

تعمل هذة المواد علي انتاج الدوبامين وهو هرمون السعادة ولكل بعده بفترة يقل تاثيرة لذلك يعود المدمن اي طلب المادة مرة اخري

تخلتف فكرة الادمان عن فكرة التعود لان التعود هو مثلا التعود علي اكل الشيكولاتة والتي تسبب افراز نفس الهرمون ولكل الكمية تكون ثابتة ولا تحتاج الي زيادة كمية الشكيولاتة وكذلك الموسيقي وغيرها 

يوجد ادمان اخطر من ادمان المخدارت 

هو ادمان العلاقات مثلا ودخول الفرد اكثر من علاقة في فترات قريبة وكذلك ادمان دور الضحية او دور المنقذ او سوبر مان في المجتمع 

ادمان العلاقات هو الدخول في علاقة مع شخصيات بموصفات جسديو زنفسية معينة لفترة معنية وبعدها يحدث انفصال وقد يسبب اذي نفسي معنوي وفي النهاية يحدث انفصال ونجد المدن يدخل بعدها علاقة اخري بنفس الموصفات ونفس الطريقة 

واغلب هذة العلاقات يكون فيها الارتباط بشخص قوي الشخصية يتحمل هو المسؤلية كاملة ويكون شخصية اعتمادية 

الادمان الاخر هو شخصية الجاني الذي لا يسامح ولا يخطيء ويحاول كل من حولة ارضاء وطلب السماح منه وهو يتلذذ بهذة الطريقة وتكون ارضاء لادمانة في هذة العلاقة 

والادمن الاخر ايضا هو دور المنقذ الذي تدخل في حياتك الاخريين بكل الطرق وبهدف الظهور كانة المنقذ سوبر مان حلال المشاكل بالصورة العامية المشكلة 

في كل هذة الادوار انها ليست عارضة ولا مؤقتة بل تظهر في كل العلاقات والحياة وهناك الكثير من الامثلة من هؤلاء الاشخاص في حياتنا 

في النهاية الادمان ليس فقط مخدرات يوجد ادمان علاقات سامة ومعقدة قد تكون اخطر واشد قسوة من خطر ادمان المخدرات
