What about prognosis in Fattty liver disease ? Usually NASH ( Nonalchoholic steatohepatitis ) does not worse with time. But remember sometimes it can cause serious scarrring of liver which can lead to cirrhosis and liver failiure. Whata are the treatment options for fatty liver and NASH ? No definite proven pharmacological treatment is available to treat fatty liver.. but regular exercise and dietary fat restriction will improve your liver enzyme levels. Regular vitamin E intake will improve your liver enzyme levels. But vitamin E intake will associate with highrisk of heart disease. So if you are taking vitamin E , please do it with the guidence from your physician.. A recently published research shows daily taking a cuf of coffee will improve your liver enzyme levels.
