The 5G Wireless Technology is a very dangerous technology in my opinion. Unlike 4G, 5G needs a much broader radio band to function as advertized. Todays 4G has a spectrum of 3.5 GHz. 5G uses up to 300 GHz!
Such a broad radio wave spectrum requires hundreds if not thousands of transmitters for a 5G net in a city district. Today only a dozen or so 4G transmitters are needed for the same area.
This leads to immense bombardment by radio waves on a before unseen broad radio wave spectrum. When thinking about it my head melts even before this whole technology is deployed at full scale.
Besides the fact of unhealty bombardment there are several new use cases for Intelligence and Government agencies. Just imagine what Big Brother is able to do if there are that many transmitters in a single street. It no big effort to "upgrade" such transmitters with functions like thermal imaging, eavesdropping, concentrated and directed energy output (radiated beam) etc.
In my opinion this technology should never see the light of day. What do you think?
