Have you slept today? Wait, not like that, is it enough your sleeping today?
Yes, sleep is a body requirement that has been underestimated by most people. Whereas sleep is a process that must be obtained by the body, but we are the one who must fulfill it. In that sense, we should be able to make this body get enough sleep. Our body's sleep needs turn out differently, depending on how old we are. e.g. babies need to sleep longer than we adults. So what happens when our body does not get enough sleep? Some research say , there are many bad things that happen to the body when not getting enough sleep, including: the body experiencing physical and mental stress, cognitive slowdown, depression and psychological disorders and the body will be vulnerable to attacks of cardiovascular disease, vital organ disorders.

However, how long does the body survive to not sleep or be keep awake? Randy Gardner, in 1963, set a world record by being unable to sleep for 11 days. (source) WOW !! During sleep he was noticed there was a change in the psychological, lost concentration even until hallucinating. It turns out the body is unable to keep vigil, if forced human will lose consciousness even death. So from now on, start keeping your sleep time, even if you have to stay up, manage your time well. Because your body must rest.
