Same Drug: 500 mg Ivermectin for humans = 1310 euros VS. 500 mg Ivermectin for animals = 28 euros
I made a quick calculation
and found out that Ivermectin which is used for River Blindness, Scabies, Hookworms and other parasites is 46 times more expensive when bought for human use than when bought for animal use.
The same chemical which is called a wonder drug by https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3043740/ and helped the world tremendously is so overpriced it's scandalous.

240 mg = 625 euro
500 mg = Around 1310 euro
Animal use:
500 mg = Around 28 euro
1310 : 28 = 46
This means that the same drug costs 46 times more when bought for humans.
If you are sure its the same drug, buy it only at the veterinarian, it will work out much cheaper.
