Good News for Alternative Health Treatment
Due to the need to offer alternatives to veterans because of the opioid epidemic, some alternative treatments are being considered and the treatments even paid for in Veterans Administration facilities. Acupuncture, yoga, and chiropractic care are slowly seeping into the veterans health care treatments. There is a backlash, of course, those who claim the results are only a placebo effect. It is great that these non-drug treatments are being made available to veterans and paid by their insurance. Maybe good results will cause these treatments to be made available in the near future for other health insurance plans as well.
