Home remedies for this two urinary problem
URINARY RETENTION
When the bladder is expanded yet urine isn't passed, it could result from urethral constriction, prostate enlargement, or a possible urethral stone. Though causes vary, the solution is straightforward:
Utilize two towels or sponges, one soaked in hot water and the other in cool water. Alternate applying them to the bladder area every minute. This alternating heat and cold regimen stimulates the bladder, facilitating easy urination.
If the hot and cold compress method proves insufficient, administer punarnava paste (punarnava powder mixed with water to form a paste) directly above the distended bladder area for approximately thirty minutes.
• For urinary retention due to urethral stricture or prostate enlargement, consider the following remedy:
Mix punarnava guggulu (4 parts) with shilajit (1 part). Consume ½ teaspoon of this blend thrice daily with warm water to alleviate stricture or relax the prostate, promoting smoother urine flow.
CYSTITIS
Cystitis manifests as a burning sensation during urination. To alleviate discomfort, consume coriander, cumin, or fennel tea separately, or brew a tea combining equal parts of these three herbs. Cumin-coriander-fennel tea is renowned in Ayurveda for its bladder-soothing properties during urination.
Another effective mixture for cystitis relief includes:
punarnava (5 parts)
gokshura (4 parts)
musta (3 parts)
Consume ½ teaspoon of this herbal blend two to three times daily with warm water.
