RE: What are the benefits of eating grape seed?
Wonderful stuff. We've largely eliminated grape seeds from grapes. Now I think that is a shame rather than a bonus point. :-)
Have you heard of the use of hawthorn berries as a heart tonic? Crataegus.
This week I've been successfully helping a patient with congestive heart failure and pulmonary hypertension with crataegus in homeopathic potency. She's had a great reduction in the swelling in her legs and greater ability to breath as well as a reduction in the pain and weight in her chest. [She's under doctor's care too but all they have been able to offer her is a medication that has too many side effects for her. She couldn't eat at all once she started to take it.]
I might well suggest she tries to add grape seeds to her diet.
I wonder if you can get them as a supplement powder somewhere? I'm guessing you have to chew them up to get the benefits or they would pass through your digestive tract?
Thanks for a useful post :-)
